Iran Ready to Supply Medicine to Syria

Syria is facing serious problems in supply of medicines and vaccines to its people as 20 pharmaceutical factories out of 100 have been destroyed since the conflict began in 2011, said Syrian Health Minister Nizar Yazigi, in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart during his visit to Tehran.

Health Minister Hassan Hashemi pointed to Iran’s readiness to enhance ties with Syria, especially in supply of medical equipment and drugs. “We will do our best to help Syria in this field,” he said, IRNA reported.
