There is an old, stone-paved street in south Tehran called 30-Tir (Si-e Tir). A walk in the street is like browsing through the history of the capital.
Zhiwaar Tour has started a series of visits to the famous street on a regular basis. This time the program is slated for December 14.
Rendezvous is 9am at the intersection of Hafez and Neauphle-le-Chateau streets. A leisurely walk through 30-Tir takes a maximum of one hour, but since there is much to talk about at every block of the street, the tour will run through 1pm. More information available at Zhiwaar.com.
