Ra’ad Rehabilitation Goodwill Complex – dedicated to promoting the cause of the physically disabled – is holding the second ‘National Self-Confidence Festival’ on September 9-10 in Tehran. The festival focuses on issues concerning entrepreneurship and employment for people with disabilities and higher quality services via NGOs and social workers, ILNA reports. It will include contests in six areas of entrepreneurship, society, science and culture, art, and sports. Creating a link between entrepreneurs and institutes active in rehabilitation of the disabled, promoting an entrepreneurial approach in the community to address problems of the disabled, and familiarizing the general public with services offered by supportive organizations, are among other aims of the festival.
